Your role will involve reporting to the Project Manager and Service Delivery Manager with a focus on monitoring and controlling delivery. The role may also require support to other PMO functions as applicable; this may include supporting change management, document management, procurement and resource management. Working as part of a wider PMO organization there will be future opportunities to support projects and programs across our business, allowing the development of new skills and experience to aid career progression. This is a great opportunity to pursue a career in Project/PMO support and Project Management Mandatory skills: -The Programme Management Office (PMO) provides support across all project and service delivery for the projects which includes site and building access, procurement and management reporting. - The PMO will engage with customer supply chain working with a technical Subject Matter Experts (SME) to validate quotes and respond to technical queries in order that the quotes can be obtained/issued to seek their Authority to Proceed (ATP) that then enables purchase orders (POs) to be raised and approved. -Support the PMO with general day-to-day project/service activities as listed within the PMO Charter. -To support hardware implementation activities, liaising with customer estate managers, creating and analysing reports for Programme management, procurement activity. Your experience * Background in supporting IT projects/programs * A working knowledge of the core PMO support functions (Reporting, Change, RAID, Finance, Planning) * Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project) * Procurement process experience (raising Purchase Orders, obtaining quotes) * Experience at coordinating the production of solution proposals * Preferably Prince2 or P3O accredited * Ability to work with all levels of the business from project resources to senior management Desirable skills: * Attention to detail * Good Communicator both written and verbal * Self-Starter * Strong team player * Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
