Our Telecoms client is looking for a Project Network Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. This is a 3 months contract initially and the role is outside IR35. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week working onsite in Glasgow and travel across Scotland will be required. Key responsibilities: * Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure customer networks are documented as part of project handovers * Install, configure, fault find, report and maintain routers, switches and firewalls * Completion of site surveys to enable installation * Rack, charger and telecoms equipment installation and commissioning to an excellent standard * Create Health and Safety documentation such as RAMS, POWRA to ensure H&S measures are adhered to. Required experience: * Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments. * Strong background in IP networking, including CCNA-level knowledge, WAN, LAN, and MPLS. * Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms, including Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P. * Excellent understanding of routing, switching, and data networking principles. * Experience working with XTran technology. * Proficient in using Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming.
