Target Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months initially Recruitment Type: Contract Rate:£500pd Inside IR35 Location of role (on site requirements) Remote working with visits to Edinburgh preferred, then Glasgow Clearance Required: SC Desired Experience: -Experienced in 'on-site' project implementation -Experienced in the use of MS Project -Experienced Prince2 Practitioner or PMP Professional -Experienced in managing complex project scope, project cost and project quality outputs against contracted requirements -Experienced in implementing WAN projects -Experienced in commercial and project financial management -Experienced in project forecasting -Experienced working within the defence arena -H&S qualified (IOSH or equivalent) Responsibilities: Work under the direction of the Programme Manager and Senior Project Managers to deliver the Programme Manage and direct members of the project team, specifically the Architects, Installation Design Authority resources, and subcontractors required in the delivery or as directed by the Programme Manager and Senior Project Managers -Accountable and responsible for confirming Requirements with the client on receipt of the request -Attending site survey and installation activities as and when required -Attending regular customer meetings -Responsible for raising Purchase Orders and 3rd party costs -Accountable and responsible for implementing the delivery plan to ensure timescales are held -Accountable and responsible the Engineering Change Request process is followed -Accountable and responsible that all deliveries align with Client standards -Accountable for requesting staging of hardware with the build Centre, and secure delivery to site -Accountable and responsible of engaging engineering resources and 3rd parties to complete installation work as and when required -Accountable and responsible for resolving any snagging -Accountable and responsible to provide structured reporting during project delivery -Accountable and responsible to obtain CA sign off on completion of IA as per financial forecast Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
