Tradefloor Support Engineer
Trade Floor Support Engineer – 3-month contract – London My Customer is seeking a Trade Floor Support Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting high-performance users, including Traders and VIPs, in a high-pressure financial services setting. As a key member of the IT support team, you will provide hands-on desktop support up to 2nd line for our Trade Floor operations. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless technology performance across departments that are critical to business success. You’ll need a keen eye for prioritisation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with professionalism and urgency. The Trade Floor Support Engineer is required onsite 5 days a week in Victoria, London Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience in a trading floor or high-pressure financial environment Strong technical troubleshooting across Windows, Microsoft 365, and end-user devices Familiarity with bespoke trading applications such as Bloomberg Experience with mobile device management (preferably Microsoft Intune) Proficiency with service desk tools (Avanti, ServiceNow, etc.) Understanding of business priorities and ability to triage support based on impact and urgency Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to support high-profile users Key Responsibilities of the Trade Floor Support Engineer Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to traders, front-office staff, and VIP users Troubleshoot hardware, software, and bespoke application issues efficiently Manage and resolve incidents using service desk tools (Avanti preferred, ServiceNow and others acceptable) Support Microsoft 365 environment and related technologies Provide meeting room and AV support to ensure high service availability Support and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices using tools like Intune Work collaboratively with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues Maintain a high level of customer service and timely communication throughout issue resolution The Trade Floor Support Engineer is required to be onsite in Victoria, London 5 days a week. Network Support Analyst - Cisco CCNA – European Bank - City London Our Client is looking to recruit a Network Support Analyst with Cisco CCNA – you must have at least 4 to 7 years proven track record. This is a support role supporting Business As Usual (BAU) with involvement in design of scalable solutions deliverable through projects. Encompassing numerous technologies that benefit high-availability solutions. Fast thinker who can diagnose, assist others and remediate BAU support issues. Maintain documentation and networking diagrams for both support and stringent internal audits. This role requires a responsible individual who can support to root cause analysis. Key duties - Work within Infrastructure team in supporting and delivering all aspect of services - BAU encompassing networks, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves and changes - Support annual Disaster Recovery invoking/testing - Contribute to design, build and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ roles - Develop, maintain and deliver global standards to all networking devices - Interpret network security reports - Assist with seamless migration of network estate to newly adopted security framework - Facilitate internal/external Audits and Penetration Testing. 2nd Line Support Engineer
2 Line Support Engineer / BAU – 12-month contract - Crawley We are currently looking for an experience 2 Line Support Engineer to join a successful team provide onsite support to users. The role will be based on site in Crawley 5 day per week and will involve taking escalations from the Service Desk as well as dealing with walk ups and deskside support. Experience working with users face to face and providing outcome focused customer service is a must as opposed to a purely numbers focused ticket clearing approach. The successful IT Support Engineer must excellent customer service/communication skills to complement the technical experience below. IT Support Engineer - Technical Skills / Experience required: Prior experience within a 2nd Line role Windows 11 / O365 – Administration and Support Providing proficient face to face engagement with customers.
