Senior Oracle Performance & Tuning Consultant - 12 month (Part time 2/5) - Brussels Our important client is currently looking for a Senior Oracle Performance & Tuning Consultant for a 12 month contract (Part time 2/5) in Brussels. Work Conditions 2 days per week (≈100 days per year) Hybrid model: 50% on-site / 50% remote Full remote work possible after onboarding and familiarization Mission Join a dynamic team managing a diverse database ecosystem including Oracle Database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL DB. Your main role is to support business development teams by identifying Oracle performance bottlenecks, optimizing SQL queries, and improving overall database efficiency. As a Senior Oracle Performance & Tuning Consultant, you will work closely with infrastructure engineers, application architects, business analysts, and developers to ensure optimal Oracle database performance across environments. Key Responsibilities Analyse and optimize Oracle SQL queries and configurations Identify and resolve database performance issues Develop scripts and tools to automate performance analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve database architecture Document findings and share best practices Provide guidance and training to technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Skills Technical Skills Strong expertise in Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting (without Oracle Performance & Tuning Packs or paid options) In-depth knowledge of DDL / DML Ability to write scripts (SQL, PowerShell, Unix) for automation and diagnostics Good understanding of networking and modern authentication mechanisms Soft Skills Autonomous, proactive, and team-oriented Able to challenge and improve existing architectures Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences Security-aware and aligned with IT best practices If you are interested please send me your CV and I will contact you as soon as possible with further details.

Java Developer with SQL Server – Central London Our Client is looking to recruit a seasoned professional with 5 plus years experience in developing with Java as a backend Developer with SQL Server. You will have a good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. In addition to the Java and SQL Server development skills you should working knowledge of Spring, working with large code base, SQL, Unix etc. In addition you will have solid problem solving and algorithm skills.
