Must have a MCP certification along with at least 5 years experience of desktop and application rollouts Ability to think creatively and problem solve and ability to work under pressure Must be able to document solutions and support users through system changes Should have effective time management and organisational skills Ability to learn knowledge of new systems quickly and apply them in the work environment Previous experience of supporting a school environment – desirable Should have the following technical skills: Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 administration Windows 10 operating system Azure Portal Microsoft Intune uniFLOW management software Meraki Access Points Knowledge of SIMS.net – desirable Knowledge of education applications – desirable The position will be based in Milton Keynes with travel to various locations in the UK. The Customer is currently rolling out a PC replacement programme, so they are looking for an extra pair of hands to support this project as well as support 1600 users across 50 sites with any technical issues up to 2 line. IT Support Engineer - Technical Skills / Experience required: Prior experience within an IT Support / 2nd Line role Windows 10/11 – Administration and Support Microsoft 365 – Administration and Support Perform Windows OS troubleshooting, desktop/laptop imaging, and hardware deployment. Manage user accounts and permissions through Office 365 and Active Directory. Configure AV equipment and ensure meeting rooms are tech-ready. C# .net Developer – Insurance Our Client is an insurance underwriter in the City of London. They are now looking to grow their software development team and are looking to recruit a C# .net Software Developer. You will have at least 5 to 7 years expertise in developing complex software with C#. A strong mathematical background would be advantageous but not required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expert in C# Development coupled with Java/jQuery Web development Web API, CSS. You will have solid SQL Server experience (stored procedures, table design and some maintenance). Microsoft Office including VBA and advanced skills in Excel and HTML/IIS. Develop and support applications using Visual Studio and other Products where appropriate. Provide support for Microsoft Office Applications along with design and build reports for our SharePoint Applications. The ideal candidate will have a drive to succeed, take part in IT strategy and work in a technology rich and agile environment. The developer will be part of a small team with responsibilities for ensuring the business has full support regarding IT systems. Key aspects of the role will be to: Initiate and promote improvements to MI and analysis Analyse requirements and provide the most suitable solution using the most appropriate technology. Document/support and upgrade a wide range of internal applications/processes As this is a small team, you will need to be flexible in your approach, as you will have primary responsibility for some specific systems but will need to be aware of the overall system. The salary for this role will be up to £50K – for the right candidate maybe slightly higher for exceptional candidates. The Client will consider someone junior with an ability to learn and hit the ground running at £25K - £30K. You will have a 2:1 in maths or computer science, or similar.
