Information Governance Assurance Manager Norwich (On-site / Public Sector) £28.48-£32.06 per hour (Contract) Excellent opportunity for an experienced Information Governance / Data Protection professional to join a large public sector organisation in a senior, high-impact role, leading assurance activity across data protection, privacy, DSPT and Trust-wide IG risk reduction. This company are a major public sector organisation running a complex information estate and delivering essential services. They are looking to strengthen Information Governance leadership to ensure policy, assurance and compliance controls remain robust, practical and fit for purpose. In this role you will lead the development and assurance of the organisation's IG framework, oversee DSPT accreditation and improvement plans, deliver DPIAs and risk assessments for new systems/projects, and provide expert advice on data sharing and privacy by design. You'll also manage serious IG incidents/breaches, produce formal reports, support internal/external audits, and present to senior governance forums. The ideal candidate will have senior-level IG experience within a complex environment (NHS/public sector strongly preferred), strong DSPT and GDPR knowledge, and the confidence to advise and influence at SIRO/Caldicott/Director level.
