Head of Software Development with MS SQL Server The Head of Software Development for a Bank is responsible for leading the development and delivery of software solutions that support the bank's private banking operations. This includes managing core banking systems, Treasury systems, Finance systems, and ensuring the efficient operation of Equation and SQL Server environments. The Client would like to see at least 7 to 10 years expertise in working with and developing applications using SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS and if possible some experience with C# .Net You will be working with and using MS SQL Server and SSIS for reporting purposes at this bank. The role involves strategic leadership, project management, and close collaboration with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the software delivery strategy for the private banking division, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business goals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development including MS SQL Server with SSIS, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within banking or financial services. Proven track record of managing large-scale software delivery projects in core banking, Treasury systems, and finance systems. Experience with Equation and SQL Server environments.
