This company build a market leading platform used across the higher education sector. They are continuing to grow year on year and are looking to add two developers to their team in central Bristol. In this role you will join a small, supportive team working across both BAU and new product features. You will work with PHP in a predominantly procedural style, focusing on secure, efficient and hand-rolled solutions rather than heavy frameworks. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas to product design, usability and interface improvements. The tech stack includes PHP, JavaScript, React, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres and Git. The team collaborate on site Tuesday to Thursday, with home working on Mondays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be a PHP Developer with commercial experience and a good understanding of procedural programming. You will be comfortable across the full stack with JavaScript, React, SQL and Git, and will have strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Candidates must be able to commute to central Bristol three days a week.
