Key Skills & Experience: * Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion GL and Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS). * In-depth knowledge of accounting rules, journal line definitions, mapping sets, SLA (Subledger Accounting), and event models. * Experience designing and implementing chart of accounts, ledgers, balancing segments, and multi-currency setups. * Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle BI/OTBI for reporting and reconciliation. * Experience integrating Oracle GL & AH with upstream subledgers and external source systems. * Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting processes. * Ability to partner with Finance stakeholders and simplify complex accounting flows into practical solutions. * Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills. * Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Seeking an individual with good previous development experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. Must have previous experience working with Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems (PAS). Required to write technical specifications from business or functional specifications. Must have experience Oracle developer suite of products (particularly forms and reports) to undertake projects and enhancements - Oracle SQLPLUS, PL/SQL, Unix scripting. The candidate will have overall responsibility for supporting critical processing. Strong communication skills - Excellent spoken and written English. Fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written English is important to ensure that the individual does not compromise our delivery process or confuse clients. This position is based in Stratford, E15. 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 20 days paid holiday in the first year.
