Once you're happy with your portfolio, the following step is to promote your work. Brush up on your marketing skills and get your name and freelance status out there with some effective social networking. Maintain a strategic distance from the hard sell - nobody preferences being spammed. Rather, attempt to frame organic online relationships with potential clients and organizations and participate with the join in with the design discussion to show your expertise in the business.

It's really complicated. But I think if you work for both it will create problem for you. From my point of view you should work only for one client or it depends on your ability. If you can manage both projects you can take the new one.

Don't be disappointed. I also got some projects from Upwork but I did not face this type of experience. To become a successful freelancer you need lots of patience. You should try once for the client. Remember one thing Always sign agreement with the client before start working. You can use Approveme.com for it where you can sign contract easily with the client. In which all terms and conditions are written clearly. I am sure you never face this kind of problem again. You should know fully about the client.

For these all problems I have only one solution which came to my mind on this time. To avoid these issues you have to know about Esignature. You should sign contract with the client before start working with him/her. So you can avoid frauds and work without any worries. When you have proof signed documents you can work smoothly.

I think if he giving you excuses for a long time you should stop working on the project and take this bad experience as a lesson of your life. So when you start working on new project make sure sign contract with him/her with digital signature. This is the simple and secure way. There are so many online sites to sign documents online. I suggest you Approveme.me to stay secure. No matter where your client is you just have to upload document on Approveme and they give you back with signature of the client.

I believe a freelancer should always have some degree of flexibility, you should still spend time outlining a basic plan for your freelancing business. A freelance business plan is immensely helpful for your creativity, brand goals, client acquisition, client retention, budgeting, and marketing goals, among others.

Word-of-mouth referrals are often the best way to generate new leads. When your working relationship with a client ends, keep in touch and reach out from time to time.
