Mission freelance Project Manager – Azure Tenant Migration

Our large client in Switzerland is now looking for an experienced Azure Migration Project Manager (German speaking)  to lead a complex tenant-to-tenant migration program in a multi-entity environment. You will be responsible for a 2000+  digital workplaces delivery of a large-scale Azure tenant migration from a standalone company environment into a Holding-wide Azure tenant. Work Location Baden / Luzern area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, planning, and execution of the Microsoft Azure tenant migration from the company tenant to the Holding tenant, in close collaboration with internal project leadership and enterprise architecture.

• Identify required migration steps, technical dependencies, and cost drivers to migrate approximately 2,000 digital workplaces across more than 60 locations, as well as associated server applications.

• Conduct a high-level analysis of infrastructure, applications, and client/server dependencies together with company stakeholders.

• Define the target-state architecture jointly with enterprise architecture and the Holding.

• Translate analysis and target-state definition into concrete configurations and migration steps, working closely with the Holding’s project leadership.

• Lead the execution phase of the migration of all digital workplaces, ensuring coordination across teams and minimizing operational disruption.
