Title: Network Engineer Location : full time onsite Clearance required: DV ideal , or SC and open to DV sponsorship. IR35 status : Inside IR35 , £490 per day Experience : - Configuring network devices - Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices - Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. - Previous troubleshooting and support experience. - CCNA Desirable skills: - Previous experience with Juniper SRX or Fortinet FortiGate - Previous experience with Cisco ASA and McAfee MFE appliances - Previous experience with some of the following Cisco appliances: - Cisco routing 1800,1900,2900,3900 and 4300 series. - Cisco switching 3750, 3850 series, 9200 & 9300 series. Network Infrastructure Engineer Our Client a bank with offices in Central London are looking to recruit a Network Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years hands-on experience. The Client is ideally looking for a candidate with a Financial Services or Banking sector experience. Technical/Functional skills Proficient in common windows operating systems Windows 11, Windows Server 2019-2025 , Redhat & Ubunto Linux based Operating Systems Software proficiency VMWare vSphere & vCenter v8.0 and above Veeam Backup and Replication Veeam Orchestrator and VeeamOne,Symantec Endpoint Protection Symantec Endpoint Encryption ManageEngine Endpoint Central Microsoft Office 365 Bloomberg FXT/eikons Murex Treasury System SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) Networking (IT), Cisco Switches and Routers Fortigate Firewalls, LAN/WAN Routing Hardware, Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell PowerVault SAN Storage Data analysis - PC/Laptop support (formatting, imaging, etc).
