Site Technician Stone / Site Based – UK Travel Permanent – Competitive Salary + Benefits VIQU have partnered with a leading technology integrator to recruit a Site Technician responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of protection and control systems on major UK transmission and power generation projects. This role is hands-on, site-based, and will suit someone confident in electrical installations, cabling, and safety testing who is willing to travel nationwide. Key Responsibilities of the Site Technician: Assembly and wiring of electrical protection and control systems using drawings and wiring schedules. Installation and termination of multicore, copper, and fibre optic cables. Mechanical assembly of cubicles, frameworks, and cable racking. Conducting electrical safety checks, insulation resistance, continuity, and point-to-point wiring tests. Supporting hardware builds, temporary test rigs, and on-site modifications. Working with site supervisors/managers to ensure deliverables and materials are ready. Updating issue logs and liaising with design, commissioning, and site engineers to resolve issues. Experience Required of the Site Technician: Minimum 1 year experience as a site-based wireperson. Proven background in E, C & I installations (substation control/protection systems or similar) on National Grid or comparable sites. Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, and technical drawings. Willingness to travel and work away at customer sites across the UK. Full UK driving licence. Security Engineer – 3 Month Contract – Hybrid – London - Proofpoint My client, a global business, is looking for an experienced Security Engineerto provide SME level expertise to an email security project - migrating Mimecast to Proofpoint. The successful candidate must have expert level, hands-on experience using Proofpoint, including the setup of policies, general configuration and knowledge transfer. The project has come about to align the customers global email security posture and so is a key project within the businesses road map. Key Responsibilities of the Security Engineer: Assist with Proofpoint policy configuration setup for multiple regions across Europe. Provide ongoing hands-on support within a migration from Mimecast to Proofpoint. Supporting the setup of TAP Isolation, Account Takeover Protection and Encryption. Monitoring Proofpoint logs and contributing to the IP reputation building efforts Participation in working sessions with end users to strengthen the company’s security posture. Support DMARC domain enrolment and validation within Proofpoint Skills and Technology used by the Security Engineer: Must have Proven experience with Proofpoint, configuration and enhancements.
