Service deliverables - Architecture mission

Context and objective of the mission

The mission focuses on architecture design, architecture governance, product information systems strategy, technology assessment, and support to development teams in a complex multi-entity environment. The expected scope includes applications shared across several group entities and integrated with the entities’ systems, with particular attention to functional and non-functional requirements, including performance.

Main responsibilities

• Provide a General Architecture Design (GAD) document for each solution
• Gather non-functional requirements when missing and ensure that the target architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance
• Deliver Building Permit in the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
• Inform the Group Technology Forum and obtain, when required, a Group Building Permit in the Group Architecture Review Board (GARB)
• Define and contribute to the Product IS Strategy
• Drive RFI, RFP and POC activities on tools and technologies
• Methodize awareness sessions to promote and spread new technologies
• Maintain an Application Portfolio
• Contribute to and maintain a reference architecture, including principles, patterns, rules, standards and tools
• Provide on-demand support to development teams

Profile required

• Experience in the design and implementation of complex architectures
• Experience with architectures for applications shared between several group entities and integrated with the systems of those entities
• Expertise in new technologies
• Expertise in Security Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of expertise

Expected deliverables

• General Architecture Design (GAD) documents for solutions
• Building Permit submissions for ARB and, when required, Group Building Permit submissions for GARB
• Contributions to Product IS Strategy
• RFI/RFP/POC outputs on tools and technologies
• Reference architecture materials and application portfolio maintenance
