Reporting to the Infrastructure Operations Manager you will share responsibility for infrastructure solutions/systems across a range of technologies. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation to design and support new solutions.

Key Responsibilities of this role

  • deployment, configuration, monitoring, and second- and third-line support of a wide range of infrastructure services, including Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, virtualisation platforms (VMware), and backup solutions such as Commvault, Cohesity, and Druva.

  • managing monthly server patching, endpoint protection, and legacy on-premises technologies including SAN and physical servers.

  • managing DNS, certificates, and domains.

  • support basic Linux administration

  • liaise with third-party vendors to ensure service quality

  • lead on implementing cybersecurity standards and email security protocols such as DKIM/DMARC

 

Candidate profile

Key requirements of the role:

Essential:

  • Experience administering a Windows Active Directory Domain environment, including Exchange, group membership, and AD 

  • Basic experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure 

  • Working knowledge of Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Microsoft Teams 

  • Understanding of virtual and cloud datacentre environments 

  • Awareness of security best practices
