Junior Business Analyst City London We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst with the following expertise: Total experience required 2-3 years, and will work as part of a team. Should have agile methodology experience, should have experience to be in weekly or daily scrum meetings. Works with the product teams to capture requirements (both functional and non-functional) using various techniques such as workshop facilitation, data analysis, site visits, and task and workflow analysis. Combines all business requirements into a clear, managed, prioritized backlog (Agile) or business requirements document (Waterfall). Should have experience with eCommerce Domain Conducts analysis that identifies current business processes or system inadequacies and presents ideas for process and systems improvement that assist product teams in meeting customer needs. Creates use cases, user stories, functional specifications, diagrams and technical documentation as needed to articulate requirements. You will ideally have a Prince 2 qualification along with Agile. This role sits in the Digital Delivery team which is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of GLD’s existing products and services, and the development of new digital services to support GLD staff working across government. Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading the business analysis function in agile delivery teams working on multiple products and services, including M365, ServiceNow and GLD’s legal practice management system Working with key stakeholders across the business to identify and address business and user problems, ensuring solutions are aligned to strategic business objectives Using analysis insights to provide options and recommendations for improvements, inform priorities and shape the teams’ activities Mapping processes, user interactions, and data flows to support the product and delivery objectives of the team Ensuring that epics and stories are well documented and contain suitable acceptance criteria to support development and test activity Assisting with functional testing of completed user stories, ensuring they meet requirements, and documenting and managing defects as they arise Line managing and supporting the development of a more junior business analyst Building a community of practice and championing best practice in business analysis

UX Designer We require a UX Designer to join the design team and work along other designers, researchers, product owners and technologists in defining and developing digital products and platforms. You will be initiating and managing projects and lead the team forward in daily design tasks which include conducting workshops, user testing and prototyping. Key responsibilities • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to derive personas, use cases, concepts, user journeys and information architecture. • Create prototypes based on high-level business, functional, and technical requirements. • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to ensure the best creative solutions are realized, implemented and delivered. • Work along business analysts to complement user stories with design output • Work closely with Project manager and the team to ensure the sprint expectations are being respected and backlog defined. • Keep abreast of latest practices, techniques and emerging technologies within the industry and employ these to develop ideas and inspire creative concepts. • Act as a design and UX advocate internally and externally. • Work directly with the client on project scope and expectations. Experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. • UX designer with over 3 years work experience working for respected clients as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role. • Understanding of the UX processes. • Experience in interface design for desktop, tablet, and mobile. • Experience of working in an Agile environment is desired. • Experience of working to strict deadlines. • Proven design track record. • Experience in designing user flows, wireframes and implementation instructions. • Ability to define key metrics and evaluate project success. • Portfolio of UX and design work.
