In the Software Developer role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the design and delivery of Business Developed Applications (BDApps). You will already have software developer skills and we will support you with on-the-job training to apply these skills in our BDApp environment. Person specification As a Software Developer you will: • Design and develop new BDApps and support existing BDApps using various languages and technologies such as C#, Visual Basic 6, VBA, Microsoft Office, and SQL. In addition to .NET and PRISM Frameworks • Be an active participant in workshops to gather BDApp requirements from stakeholders, turning these into a detailed system requirements document • At key milestones during the lifecycle be able to perform demonstrations of the progress of the BDApp to all stakeholders • Design and write detailed test scripts for use whilst facilitating both technical testing and User Acceptance Testing with the business and key stakeholders • Write technical system navigation guidance, which can be integrated into the system, allowing the user to navigate through the BDApp • Develop and deliver training packages to business users for new BDApps • Have a willingness to continuously develop and increase your technical knowledge

We are seeking a person with the following skills: o Must have 5 years solid Java experience. o A proven Java knowledge & experience in Java Microservices specifically, Java Spring Framework and Java Spring Boot 2. o Will have worked on cloud-based solutions utilising AWS. o Experience of creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines including Bamboo and Git Runner. o Must have strong interpersonal skills team ethic. o Have experience of working in a Scrum and Kanban environment. o Have experience of Test-Driven Development and Pair Programming. o Capable of innovative thinking and strong problem-solving skills, to feed a healthy backlog of internal system and service improvement work. o A regular on-site presence to promote and encourage hybrid working in others. o SC Clearance What Technologies are they required to know: o Developing using Java 7 upwards, with Spring Framework & Spring Boot 2. o Use of Oracle and MongoDB within solutions. o Kubernetes with Helm. o Red Hat Linux. o Scripting in Shell Script, Perl and SQL o Jira, Confluence. L’équipe est constituée de 2 Product Managers 2 Tech Lead 9 Software Engineers 1 Quality Engineers Le terrain de jeu est propice à l’innovation et la prise d’initiative : une plateforme internationale, des données “sensibles” à sécuriser, de la haute disponibilité, des déploiements sans interruption de service… Dans ce contexte stimulant, ta mission sera d’accompagner la création des nouveaux composants et l’amélioration des services existants : développer sur une stack micro-services et évènementielle garantir la qualité (TDD/BDD, code review, …) garantir la sécurité et les performances déployer la solution sans interruption de service (docker/kubernetes) analyser et résoudre les incidents Contexte DevSecOps “you build it, you run it , you enjoy it !”, des astreintes seront à prévoir (1 semaine tous les 2 mois) lorsque le produit sera déployé dans sa première version Le tout avec une organisation s’appuyant sur un éco-système agile afin de délivrer rapidement et fréquemment le plus de valeur possible à nos produits.
