The Deputy Director of Digital is responsible for the quality, performance, benefits, and outcomes of digital products and services within the organisation. They manage prioritisation, risk assessment, decision making, and provide direction to digital teams in accordance with department policies and user outcomes. As a senior digital and technology practitioner, this role sets the digital vision and strategy for the organisation driving the transformation to user-focused and future-ready products and services. The responsibilities include setting digital policy, advocating for and delivering digital initiatives, and integrating them into the organisational framework. This position requires significant expertise in digital service delivery, product management, agile methodologies, and emerging technologies and data to facilitate large-scale digital transformation.
