We are partnering with a well-established organisation seeking a skilled Project Manager (Dynamics 365) to join their dynamic IT team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Location – Wokingham (min 2-3 days per week onsite) Duration – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Responsibilities Work collaboratively with various Development and Infrastructure teams, Quality Assurance and Product. Management to ensure successful delivery of the projects with committed deliverables. Identify risks, track dependencies and remove impediments. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management. Work remotely and onsite with a diverse group of stakeholders in different time zones. Document Product roadmaps in coordination with Product Managers. Regularly report to senior leadership, providing updates on progress, risks, roadblocks and financials. Assist with project planning and prioritisation. Required Experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Experience in a project management capacity with evidence of managing complex software projects. Degree in Management or IT/Systems related discipline preferred. A proven understanding of project principles and project management techniques. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams. Ability to analyse team progress, present appropriate information/charts and provide executive level presentations. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and effectively deal with tight deadlines and pressure. Note that this opportunity is being offered on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract and requires candidate to commute to the Wokingham site several times per week. Lead the identification, scoping, and delivery of cutting-edge projects both within the Treasury and in collaboration with other departments where data science and AI can directly advance HMT’s strategic objectives. Alongside supporting Government Digital Service (GDS) led initiatives and wider community events. Champion the adoption, development, and ethical use of AI whether developed in-house or in partnership with organisations such as the Office for National Statistics and the Government Digital Service ensuring that the Treasury remains at the forefront of digital government. Serve as the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for data use across the department, working with the GDS to advance data maturity, promote AI transparency, and set robust standards for responsible data and AI use. Represent HMT’s unique data needs in cross-government forums. Lead and empower the Data Hub’s data scientists and engineers, collaborating with the wider analytical community to develop innovative tools, enhance data visualisation, and drive efficiency and value through improved analytical products and methodologies. Play an active role in the leadership of the Economics Group, with a particular focus on the Darlington Economic Campus, and contribute to the strategic direction of HM Treasury’s AI and analytical capability. Some of the key points to consider for this role are: • Define and enforce cloud security policies, identity management, and access controls to protect systems, networks, and data. • Oversee the adoption of zero-trust security principles to enhance protection across cloud platforms. • Manage identity and access management (IAM) in a cloud-first environment, including Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, and Privileged Access Management (PAM). • Lead threat monitoring, detection, and response using cloud-native security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and SIEM platforms. • Ensure compliance with cloud security frameworks and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC2, FCA).
