Desktop Support Analyst – Bank in the City London Our Client is an International Bank with its European Head Office based int eh City London. They are looking to recruit a Desktop Support Analyst with at least 5 to 8 years proven expertise within Desktop Support. The Support team operate a rota to cover the core hours from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. You will be working as a part of the Service Support Team and as such providing Desktop Support to around 130 users across several countries in Europe with the bulk in the City London. The following are a list of functions for this position: Monitoring and management of the relationship with the managed service provider, including performance against SLAs, charges for non-standard items, complaints, changes to service System changes (software upgrades, introduction of new systems Non-standard requests (new software requests, different/more powerful laptops, etc) Acquisitions of businesses - guidance on how to absorb people and systems Security system monitoring - interpreting and managing output from the SOC (security operations centre) Software licensing (Microsoft, Mimecast, other systems (time recording, billing, marketing, etc) Change management (internal authorisation for significant system changes) Assistance to senior management in relation to IT issues (for example, integration with a new time/billing system) Response to technological change (e.g. major updates to Microsoft software, introduction of AI-based systems) Accreditation for security certificates (Cyber Essentials Plus, possibly ISO 27001) Assistance with AAF and other audits Management of joiner/leaver process Business continuity plan & disaster recovery This is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days in the office at the offices in Reading. Sécurité & certification • Maîtriser les processus d’évaluation en vue d’une certification/qualification ANSSI. • Définir et documenter les mécanismes cryptographiques et les architectures de clés. • Produire les documents techniques nécessaires : • Document Cryptographie Système • Document d’architecture de clés • Cible de sécurité • Documents de justification de design • Autres livrables requis par les schémas ANSSI Pilotage technique & communication • Rédiger et défendre les choix techniques auprès des parties prenantes. • Challenger les experts internes pour garantir la qualité et la pertinence des solutions. • Assurer un rôle d’interface crédible et structurante auprès du client et des autorités. 📝 5.
