We have a current opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer on a contract basis. The role is for 9-12 months, with Hybrid working. Lead design and prototyping of electronic and power‑electronic circuits, including schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing drawings. Test and characterise prototypes; develop and maintain automated test rigs for power‑supply validation. Develop and debug FPGA and micro-controller code for power‑supply systems. Oversee routine monitoring, testing, and preventative maintenance of power supplies, recommending improvements. Lead safety activities, preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and procedures.
