Power BI Developer – Contract – Hybrid – Cardiff VIQU have partnered with an NHS client who are seeking a Power BI Developer to support its analytics function on a contract basis. The successful Power BI Developer will work on self-contained projects, revamp legacy dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data visibility and decision-making. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and enhance dashboards using Power BI, ensuring alignment with internal and visual best practices. Extract and manipulate data from SQL databases, SharePoint lists, and Excel. Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, understand priorities, and deliver tailored reporting solutions. Update and standardize legacy dashboards to meet current compliance and usability standards. Contribute to smaller, self-contained analytics projects. Key skills & experience required: Provenexperience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards with strong visual design skills. Ability to query and manage data from SQL databases. Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions. Familiarity with following Standard Operating Procedures in dashboard development and reporting. PMO Analyst – Remote/Cardiff - 3 Months Initial Contract VIQU have partnered with an NHS trust based in Cardiff, who are seeking a contract PMO Analyst to support to support a critical software development project. This role will be key to maintaining project control, documentation, and governance during a key delivery phase. The role: As PMO Analyst, you will confidently support project governance and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for chasing internal technical teams to ensure that documentation, RAID logs, risk registers, and governance materials are up to date and accurate. Responsibilities: Maintain and update RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), risk registers, and assurance documentation. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of project documentation, including SharePoint lists and PowerPoint slide decks for reporting. Chase project actions with technical teams, ensuring ownership and timely completion. Support project governance by preparing and updating highlight reports, project board packs, and steering group materials. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and send communications (e.g., invites or notes for User Acceptance Testing sessions). Ensure compliance and smooth operation of project mechanics – focusing on documentation, governance, and risk management. Attend and support workshops or meetings either virtually or occasionally in person as needed. Key skills and experience: Experience as a PMO Analyst, ideally in digital or software development environments. Strong understanding of RAID log management and project governance frameworks. Confident using Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for tracking and reporting. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum terminology, such as sprints, epics, and user stories. Demonstrated ability to work with and chase technical teams assertively, showing persistence and professionalism. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to filter and prioritise information. This role is essential to support a busy digital procurement team during a period of increased activity and upcoming maternity cover, focusing on the delivery of a high volume of complex ICT contracts. Role Overview: You will lead complex ICT procurement exercises and contract negotiations, managing large-value digital contracts within established frameworks. The role requires strong supplier management skills and the ability to deputise for the Digital Procurement Manager, while mentoring junior colleagues. You will work fully on-site, driving the delivery of 40-45 major digital procurement contracts by March 2026. Key Responsibilities: Lead complex ICT procurement exercises, including contract negotiation and review of terms and conditions.
