We're looking for an early-career Software Engineer to join a fast-growing team building AI-powered recruitment technology. In this role, you'll help develop and improve products that automate candidate sourcing, screening, and hiring workflows. You'll work across the full stack, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to building scalable solutions used by companies worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fundamentals in software development who wants to gain hands-on experience working with modern technologies, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven products. PST timezone overlap required (at least 6-8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of fullstack systems powering core product workflows

• Build backend services and APIs with guidance, focusing on clean, maintainable code

• Develop user-facing features and interfaces that ship directly to real users

• Support data modeling efforts and learn best practices for database performance and scalability

• Collaborate with product and design teams to turn ideas into working features

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering quality

• Help debug issues and learn how to maintain reliable production systems

Requirements

• Early-career Software Engineer in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Solid fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React

• Familiarity with backend development (Node.js)

• Exposure to databases (PostgreSQL or similar) and general data modeling concepts

• Understanding of how APIs work and how applications communicate

• Curiosity, strong willingness to learn, and attention to detail

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Internship experience in software engineering.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD basics, or deployment workflows.

• Interest in AI, data-driven products, or modern system design.

• Experience working on team projects or hackathons.
