Mission freelance Infrastructure Architect

Job Description

Brief overview on the role/project: As an infrastructure architect you will be expected to provide architectural leadership for end-to-end solutions as part of the project, ensuring seamless integration or project activities with existing running services. The architect will be instrumental in design development, troubleshooting, and validating change impacts within live service environments. You will lead solution architecture across full implementation lifecycle as well as validate and assess changes against in-service systems to prevent unauthorised implementations. You will be expected to conduct deep-dive investigations and own remediations.

Mandatory skills: End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation). Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge. Good understanding of Linux systems (automation an advantage). Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred, others acceptable). NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication. Good understanding of networking and firewalls. Ability to deep-dive on investigations to steer remediations.
