We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead the technology function within a growing group of companies operating in the medical industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an electrical contracting specialist has operated across Ireland and the UK, directly employing over 200 highly skilled professionals. It is renowned for its exceptional operational efficiency and commitment to sustainable business practices.

As the IT Manager, you'll take ownership of infrastructure across hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems - ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. You'll manage and develop a small team, lead key projects including system integrations and process automation, and drive compliance with ISO 27001 standards.

Working closely with senior management, you'll help define the IT roadmap, align initiatives with wider business objectives, and ensure technology continues to support operational excellence and future expansion.

The Role:

  • Lead IT projects including system integrations, migrations, and new technology rollouts
  • Manage and support the IT team to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient services
  • Oversee infrastructure, cloud systems, and telecoms to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain ISO 27001 compliance and drive continual improvements in IT security
  • Implement automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate to streamline workflows


The Person:

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a senior IT leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, VOIP, and CRM or ERP systems
  • Understanding of ISO 27001 and information security frameworks
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent leadership and communication skills
