Job description – Product Manager – Collateral Management

Context and objective
A major financial market infrastructure organization is seeking a Product Manager to strengthen the team managing a suite of collateral management services for a temporary assignment of one year. The role plays a pivotal part in the evolution of the collateral management business by leading the delivery of digital collateral management services based on asset tokenisation and exchange on ledger. The position involves consulting with clients, following market developments, and interacting with relevant internal stakeholders to drive the ideation, design and development of new collateral services deployed on digital ledgers.

Main responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of new digital collateral management services relying on collateral tokenisation
• Ensure products and services remain competitive and compliant with regulatory requirements
• Develop product solutions combining cost efficiency, functionality and creativity
• Manage the product lifecycle and overall product contribution
• Oversee and contribute to market research, product development and product design
• Set pricing, oversee sales and marketing campaigns, and monitor sales performance
• Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends, client behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for products and services
• Monitor, analyse and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas and identify features that need to evolve to meet customer needs
• Liaise with other areas of the organization to implement product changes
• Work with marketing and product specialist support to design sales campaigns that are consistent, effective and appropriate for the target audience

Profile sought
• Product Manager profile required; not a Project Manager or Program Manager
• Knowledge or experience in the functioning of global financial markets
• Knowledge or experience of Digital Ledger Technology, particularly its application in the post-trade industry
• Proven track record in collateral management
• Strong product management skills, with interest in business case formulation, analysis of market data and trends, and presentations
