Mission freelance Automation Engineer - Ignition SCADA - Remote - Contract

Contract: 6 months (potential to go permanent)
Experience: 3-5 years

We're looking for an Automation Engineer with hands-on Ignition SCADA expertise to drive global pharmaceutical projects. You'll lead deployments, optimise systems, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms, while championing best practices and compliance.

• Deploy and standardise Ignition SCADA solutions across multiple sites.
• Maintain global templates for consistent, efficient rollouts.
• Integrate SCADA with ERP, MES, LIMS, and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and keep systems running at peak performance.
• Train local teams and enforce engineering standards.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years in pharma automation projects with Ignition SCADA expertise.
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA regulations.
• Experience linking SCADA to enterprise platforms (ERP, MES, SQL).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
