An excellent opportunity for a Software Developer with strong commercial PHP experience to join a growing SaaS business in a role offering technical variety, ownership, and progression opportunities.

This business provides management systems across several sectors and is currently going through a period of national and international growth.

In this role, you'll be a senior member of the development team. You'll maintain existing code and lead the design and build of new solutions in PHP. Working with the management team, you'll help shape the product based on client feedback. You'll also mentor junior developers and have real input into how things are built. As the company grows, there are opportunities to progress further. The role is based in Blackpool, full-time in the office, with the option for hybrid working further down the line.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial PHP and database (SQL/MySQL) management experience. You'll be someone who enjoys or is looking to take ownership, helping steer product development, and supporting others in the team. Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP or Azure would be beneficial.

The Role
*Lead development on both new and existing systems, including legacy code
*Build and maintain PHP Laravel applications and improve front-end features
*Mentor junior developers and support operations to deliver projects smoothly
*Office-based in Blackpool, five days a week

The Person
*Strong commercial PHP experience, ideally with Laravel
*Solid database experience (SQL, MySQL)
*Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
*Looking for a senior role with technical responsibility and growth potential
*Full UK right to work and commutable to Blackpool
