IT & Data Systems Analyst / Permanent / Birmingham / Start - ASAP / £NEG

We're on the lookout for someone who's part IT Support, part Data Analyst. You'll be the go to for supporting our clients internal IT function from troubleshooting laptops to spotting trends in performance data that help us improve operations, marketing, and beyond.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll combine analytical skills with solid technical knowledge to deliver improvements across systems, software, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping our business tech ticking: support, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows PCs, printers, mobile devices & AV equipment
• Issuing and managing IT equipment for new starters and leavers, keeping onboarding seamless
• Liaising with external IT suppliers and partners to ensure smooth service delivery
• Managing and maintaining key business systems (CRM, ERP, cloud tools)
• Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data for insights and reporting (hello, Excel & Power BI!)
• Supporting internal software projects: work with teams to specify and shape new solutions
• Providing training, guidance, and documentation to help teams use our systems effectively

Experience Required

Essentials:

• Data analysis or IT systems experience
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Power BI, CRM platforms, and general IT troubleshooting
• Experience of Windows systems, hardware, networking & user support
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant IT qualification

Desirable

• Familiarity with Prospect Soft CRM or Pegasus Opera ERP
• Basic SQL skills
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Level 3 IT/Data apprenticeship or a degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, or Data Analytics
