Mission freelance ServiceNow Business Analyst (SC cleared and Outside IR35)

Job Description

The ServiceNow Business Analyst acts as a key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring the ServiceNow platform is aligned to business needs and delivers measurable value. This role is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements, supporting solution design, and enabling effective delivery of ServiceNow enhancements and implementations.

Working closely with product owners, developers, architects, and process owners, the ServiceNow Business Analyst ensures requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and translated into scalable, user-centred ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and related modules.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on the ServiceNow platform

Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, data model, and workflows

Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements

Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria

Experience working across ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM, CMDB, Request Management, Incident, Change, Problem)

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery models (Scrum, Kanban)

Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and architects

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Experience with process mapping and service management best practices (e.g. ITIL)
