Mission freelance Dental Business Analyst - Outside IR35

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst with knowledge of dental systems, transformation, and business change to support organisation in ensuring all documented requirements are up to date.

This role will play a key part in supporting the procurement of a dental system and its subsequent implementation, including helping drive forward procurement .

The ideal candidate will have a background in dental practice or dental inventory, with experience of implementing or procuring dental systems.


Desirable: Dental Clinical Systems Experience
* System Configuration: Designing and amending clinical resources such as Data Entry Templates, Protocols, Questionnaires, and Views to match service-specific requirements.
* Process Mapping: Creating detailed "as-is" and "to-be" process flows using Microsoft Visio to illustrate clinical workflows within the dental system.
* Data Migration & Integration: Overseeing the secure and accurate migration of thousands of patient records and supporting integrations with third-party apps such as dental imaging.
* Unit Set-up: Configuring new clinical units, managing user groups, and ensuring access rights are correctly assigned for clinicians.
* Reporting & Extraction: Designing reports and clinical dashboards to monitor KPIs and ensure data integrity across clinical, operational, and financial domains.
* Clinical Governance: Deep understanding of NHSE safety standards, GDPR, and Caldicott Guardian principles to ensure the system does not pose a clinical risk.
* Training Delivery: Experience working with trainers and end users to support the creation of training scripts and leading sessions for clinicians to ensure high system adoption and safe use.
