Brief overview on the role/project:
We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade virtualisation solutions. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance environments using VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Horizon View. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI) and support secure remote access deployments.

Mandatory skills:
- Proven experience designing and implementing VMware Horizon View environments in secure enterprise settings.
- Deep knowledge of VMware vSAN architecture and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with VMware vCenter, and ESXi host management.
- Strong understanding of Horizon deployment planning, including display protocols (Blast Extreme, PCoIP), desktop pools, and application provisioning.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Excellent documentation skills for design decisions and implementation guides.

Desirable skills:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for image automation.
