Mission freelance Technical Solution Architect/Network Design Architect

Our Telecoms client is looking for a Solution Architect/Network Design Architect that will be responsible for technical design and implementation SD-WAN services to the DCC.
This is a contract role initially for 6 months with good possibility of extension.
The rate is £300 per day outside IR35.
This role can be either based in London or Manchester with Travel approx. Once a week, depending on customer requirements.
Please note that candidate needs to either hold SC clearance or be eligible for one.

Required skills and experience:
* Leadership of customer solution integration is essential.
* Palo Alto deployment experience (SD-WAN)
* Experience in the utility sector is preferable
* Customer engagement and interaction skills
* Ability to generate quality documentation
* Excellent knowledge of delivering network designs, IP-VPN, Cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS).
* Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and routing
* Good to general understanding of SD-WAN technologies ideally Fortinet
* Knowledge of Equinix services e.g. Equinix Fabric.

Deliverables:
* Responsible for the technical design and implementation SD-WAN services to the DCC
* Manage/support/technical authority for customer circuit order forms to enable clean ordering process for VF
* Engage and participate in the full lifecycle of orders, supporting project manager
* Technical lead and participate in the delivery of circuits and SD-WAN services.
* Troubleshoot and remediate network connectivity during testing across environments
* Collaborate with relevant internal/external parties where & when required
* Travel to customer sites for meetings as necessary
* Produce appropriate design documentation
