Guide the adoption of microservices and product-centric architecture models
Provide architectural support for event-driven architecture (EDA) initiatives, including Kafka-based event streaming and schema governance
Collaboration & Governance
Work closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical architectures
Collaborate with suppliers and remote teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and delivery
Contribute to architecture governance and quality enablement across teams
Innovation & Best Practices
Stay current on advancements in cloud-native technologies, data platforms, and e-commerce ecosystems
Ensure compliance with data security standards and establish governance practices for APIs and schemas
Promote architectural best practices across teams and domains
Candidate profile
Experience
15+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, with experience across logistics, transport, or e-commerce domains
Proven experience designing and implementing data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), microservices architectures (Java, PHP, Python), and API ecosystems
Exposure to EDA principles and technologies (Kafka, Avro, schema registry) is a plus
Experience with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch); Azure exposure is a plus
Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycles
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of product organization models and domain-driven design
Experience with API-driven architectures (RESTful APIs, API gateways)
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS)
Familiarity with data mesh, lakehouse architectures, and data governance principles
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proven leadership, including guiding and mentoring development teams
Inspirational leader who motivates teams, builds confidence in architectural direction, and drives adoption through vision and influence rather than authority
