Key Responsibilities: · Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Viya where applicable). · Design and implement SQL-based data transformations, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability. · Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to interpret and translate Business Requirements into robust technical solutions. · Perform unit testing and validation of data processes to ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with standards. · Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes. · Document data workflows, logic, and processes, ensuring transparency and maintainability across the team. · Support migration or modernization initiatives, including transitioning workloads to SAS Viya or other platforms when beneficial Required Skills: · Hands-on use of SAS Enterprise Guide for data manipulation and workflow automation. · Ability to write complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance-tuned SQL code · Exposure to cloud-enabled SAS environments and Viya-based analytics. · Experience performing unit testing, data validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness. · Strong ability to interpret Business Requirements and translate them into technical specifications · Understanding of data models, data flows, and business processes · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile or hybrid teams. The consultant must speak French, English, and either Italian or Spanish . 🏠 Hybrid model: on‑site presence required at the beginning, then 2-3 days of remote work per week after 3 months. 📄 Contract: Freelance or umbrella company (no subcontracting). The mission may lead to a permanent position (CDI), so the consultant must be open to considering a full‑time role after several months of collaboration. Context An international payments provider is strengthening its implementation team dedicated to payment acceptance flows. The team intervenes after contract signature to support merchants in integrating e‑commerce and terminal solutions, with a strong technical dimension and significant client interaction. To support the growing volume of European projects, the company is looking for an Implementation Lead with strong expertise in payment acceptance and who, in addition to English, speaks either Italian or Spanish to communicate effectively with clients. Important: A solid background in payment acceptance flows is mandatory. Role The Implementation Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end implementation of payment acceptance solutions, overseeing technical integrations post‑signature and coordinating all stakeholders. The role combines: Project management (Agile / Scrum / SAFe) Client relationship Technical analysis (APIs, payment flows, logs) Cross‑functional coordination with internal teams (tech, product, QA, etc.) Responsibilities Take ownership of implementation projects after contract signature. Manage all topics related to payment acceptance (e‑commerce and terminals). Analyze and understand APIs, authorization flows, logs, and technical reports. Manage several projects in parallel across different countries. Coordinate interactions between merchants, technical teams, QA, and product. Ensure high‑quality functional and technical integration. Participate in agile ceremonies with international teams. Required Profile Mandatory skills At least 5 years of project management experience. Very strong knowledge of payment acceptance. Experience in technical environments: APIs, logs, payment flows. Strong communication skills and ability to simplify technical topics. Experience in client onboarding / functional coordination. Proficiency in one of the following language combinations: French + English + Italian French + English + Spanish Former engineer, QA, or developer who moved into project management. Experience with a payment acceptance provider (Ingenico, Worldline, AxIS, PSP, etc.). High autonomy, analytical mindset, strong client‑service orientation. Comfortable with international projects and multiple stakeholders.
