This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as a Solutions Architect, where you will play a vital role in designing and implementing technology solutions that directly support the charity's mission while effectively aligning with our strategic objectives. As a Solutions Architect, you will bring significant value by championing innovation across the organization. You will help identify, evaluate and introduce new and emerging technology which supports agile working and accelerates the organization's innovative efforts. By using data analytics to measure impact and return on investment you will advise on the applications of technologies that can deliver the most amount of value to the charity and practices that drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will guide the development and maintenance of software, data, and infrastructure architectures. Through your technical governance and oversight, you'll ensure that technology solutions are robust and compliant with best practices to ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available. In addition, you will lead on monitoring emerging technologies, conducting impact assessments, create roadmaps, and advise on strategic direction. Your insight into evolving technology landscapes will enable the organization to adapt and grow effectively. This position is informed by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and the SFIAplus IT Skills Framework specifically in areas such as Solution Architecture (ARCH), Innovation Management (INOV) and Emerging Technology Monitoring (EMRG).
