HMRC delivers services used by millions of people across the UK, and this role plays a key part in making sure the cloud platforms behind those services are reliable, secure and efficient. If you’re passionate about cloud operations, automation and continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to work on mission-critical systems at scale. What you’ll be doing You’ll support the day-to-day operation of HMRC’s cloud platforms, ensuring high levels of reliability, performance and security. This includes monitoring systems, resolving incidents, improving platform performance, and driving automation to reduce manual effort. You’ll also work closely with engineering teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code, and ensure platforms meet security and compliance standards. You’ll help standardise processes, improve resilience, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across platform teams.
