Service Request – Project Manager

Context and objective

A leading global insurance company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of critical data center initiatives across Europe.

Scope of services / main responsibilities

• Manage the successful execution of complex data center projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to budgets and timelines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors, to drive project implementation
• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure seamless project delivery
• Provide regular status updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Deliverables

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation
• Establish effective communication among all project stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, analyze performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test results, is maintained to a high standard

Required expertise and profile

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex data center projects in a large, multinational organization
• Solid project management expertise, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate organizational complexities
• Strong technical expertise in data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Scrum, and Microsoft Project
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the data center or IT infrastructure domain
• English is required; additional European languages are considered an advantage
