Context

Mission

Design, build, and evolve reliable and sustainable backend solutions that power customer experiences and business capabilities. Own solutions throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to release, monitoring, and iterative improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, release, monitor, and continuously improve backend solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Apply strong backend engineering practices while considering product impact, reliability, and compliance.

• Improve systems, engineering practices, tooling, and ways of working.

• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from design through production and ongoing improvement.

Technical environment

• Backend: .NET, C#

• Event-driven architecture: RabbitMQ, NServiceBus

• Databases: PostgreSQL, relational databases

• Cloud: AWS, S3

Profile

Experience

• Experience as a Backend Engineer in product-oriented environments.

Technical skills

• Strong backend fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, testing, performance, resilience, and operability.

• Hands-on experience with .NET (C#), backend services, and event-driven architectures.

• Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and production systems.

• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and services such as S3.

Soft skills

• Product-minded and collaborative, with the ability to work in small, autonomous, cross-functional teams.

• Strong sense of ownership, pragmatism, and commitment to continuous learning.

• Ability to consider product impact, reliability, and compliance in engineering decisions.
