The ideal candidate will have significant experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules, with good knowledge of OpenTofu and Biceps being a plus. Solid experience is required in deploying and securing distributed applications with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Azure Kubernetes), along with solid experience in ArgoCD, Helm, and similar tools. The candidate must have experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, and policy-as-code approaches. Proficiency in translating designs into fully developed Terraform code is essential, along with strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud (certification is a plus). A solid understanding of cloud networking concepts including subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security is required. Experience in enterprise-scale environments building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions is necessary, along with understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principles. Experience with container-related technologies and CI/CD tools including DevOps, pipelines, and container repositories is required. The candidate must have experience in programming and infrastructure-automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and a deep understanding of Data Platform technologies with the ability to work with services like ADF and Databricks. Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is required. Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, CLI, and Python is essential.

Beyond technical requirements, the candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a passion for new technologies and a commitment to continuous learning and critical thinking. Planning and organizational skills are mandatory, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining a customer and business-minded approach with a hands-on mentality. The candidate must be able to write and validate processes and documentation, present and discuss proposed solutions to technical audiences, and deliver pragmatic approaches while keeping solutions as simple as possible. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player mentality are essential. English language proficiency is required, with French, Dutch, and/or German being a plus.
