In this role, you will take ownership of designing, developing and delivering secure, scalable full stack applications that support critical client services. Working across the complete software development lifecycle, you'll combine modern front-end technologies with robust back-end engineering to create reliable, high-performing digital solutions. You'll influence technical approaches, champion engineering best practices and help ensure every solution delivers meaningful value to clients and users.

You'll collaborate with talented engineers, architects and stakeholders to solve complex challenges, explore innovative technologies and continuously improve delivery. Key responsibilities:

• Design & Deliver: Architect, develop and maintain secure, scalable full stack applications aligned with client and business needs.

• Build & Integrate: Develop robust REST APIs, microservices and back-end services that enable seamless integration.

• Create & Enhance: Build and improve responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.

• Innovate & Modernise: Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

• Champion Quality: Embed automated testing, secure coding practices and engineering standards throughout development.

• Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to shape technical solutions and deliver successful outcomes.

• Automate & Deploy: Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable software delivery.

• Optimise & Improve: Identify opportunities to enhance application performance, reliability, maintainability and scalability.

• Build, test & maintain: reliable services using automated testing, code review, secure development practices and appropriate monitoring.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

You should bring proven experience delivering full stack software solutions, with strong technical expertise across modern front-end and back-end technologies. You'll be confident working in Agile environments, solving complex engineering challenges and collaborating with others to deliver secure, high-quality applications. Your ability to take initiative, explore new approaches and share knowledge will help you succeed within CGI's collaborative engineering community.

Experience in at least four ideally more of the areas below:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, delivering complex applications across the software development lifecycle.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and professional experience in either Java or Python.

• Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices and modern application architecture.

• Experience developing or deploying applications using AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working within Agile development teams and implementing CI/CD practices.

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, security and code quality.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to technical discussions and delivery decisions.
