Job Description:

Senior IT SWAT - Security Configuration & Remediation Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

As a Senior IT SWAT Engineer, the core duty is to deliver hands-on advisory and technical remediation support.

• Support IT teams in understanding and remediating vulnerabilities across various environments.

• Provide practical remediation advice for patches, configuration changes, and hardening actions.

• Advise on secure configuration guidance and help reduce recurring vulnerabilities.

• Share best practices for secure operational management.

• Support urgent remediation actions for critical vulnerabilities and security incidents.

• Coach local IT teams to enhance their self-sufficiency.

• Facilitate continuous improvement and feed lessons into group practices.

• Coordinate the IT SWAT team's efforts to manage remediation effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in a similar role.

• Strong hands-on experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, cloud, network, or security engineering.

• Practical experience with vulnerability remediation and secure configuration.

• Good understanding of enterprise technologies including Windows/Linux servers and networking.

• Experience with security hardening frameworks and operational risk reduction.

• Familiarity with complex enterprise environments is a major bonus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in training or coaching IT teams.

• Proficiency in automation and standardization practices within IT operations.
