Mission freelance Technical SME (DevOps)

Our client is looking for a Technical SME with expertise in Dell EMC storage and python 3 to work on a 20 day contract. This would be an Inside IR35 contract offering between £70-£100 per hour depending on experience, with 1-2 days travel per week to London required.

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. As a Technical SME, you will play a key role in driving automation and DevOps initiatives across our organization, focusing on Dell EMC Storage. You will work closely with our IT and DevOps teams to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and collaboration.

**Requirements**
* Strong expertise in automation, DevOps, and Dell EMC Storage integration
* Proficiency in Python 3 and its various features, including control statements, loops, functions, generators, and exceptions
* Experience with automation tools and techniques, including Dell EMC Storage systems
* Strong understanding of DevOps foundations, including infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, and reliability engineering
* Ability to work collaboratively with software engineers and IT operations teams to drive automation and DevOps initiatives
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
* Experience with database integration using Python db-api
* Strong understanding of strings and their usage in automation
* Ability to stay up-to-date with industry-wide DevOps training and methodologies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement
