Job Vacancy Test Engineer

Role: Test engineer
Rate: Inside IR35
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Croydon
Duration: 6 months initially
SC Clearance required

Candidate profile

* Minimum 6 years of testing experience, with a strong ability to take ownership and work independently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of leading discussions in stand-ups and work effectively with stakeholders on testing deliverables.
* Proficient in both manual and automation testing, with expertise in analysing and designing high-level test cases, test data, and test deliverables.
* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
* Extensive experience in testing Microsoft PowerApps/MS Dynamics 365 applications.
* Experience in performing web accessibility testing for applications to ensure compliance with WCAG AA standards.
* Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript and TypeScript
* Hands-on development experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
* Strong understanding of API testing.
* Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
* Experience working with ServiceNow.
* Strong attention to detail. Able to produce and review quality deliverables.

* Web Accessibility Testing: JAWS, NVDA, Axe
