We are now looking for a SharePoint and Website UX / Interaction Designer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Part-time working hours are available for this role. We can accept part-time applicants who can commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The Role

As a SharePoint and Website UX / Interaction Designer, you will support the delivery and performance of our SharePoint intranet and website.

Working alongside Content Designers, Graphic Designers and Performance Analysts, you will deliver designs and services that provide an integrated and consistent experience for users.

You will also write, adapt, maintain and support HTML, CSS and JavaScript code for our external facing website.

Additionally, you will:

- Configure and deploy communication sites and associated MS O365 functionality
- Provide front-end designs for complex projects and portfolios of work
- Analyse user research and usability testing
- Ensure quality and accessibility compliance and general web standards are met
- Undertake quality assurance and accessibility checks

About You

To be considered as a SharePoint and Website UX / Interaction Designer, you will ideally have:

- Experience of User-Centred Design
- Experience of HTML and/or CSS and conveying design specifications to developers
- Experience customising master pages, page layouts and themes in SharePoint
- Experience creating cohesive user experiences across Office 365 applications
- Experience developing integrated solutions within the Office 365 ecosystem
- Experience crafting intuitive and engaging user interactions

There will be a requirement to travel to Bootle in Liverpool one day a week (or when required). Therefore, we would encourage candidates to consider if the commute from home to Bootle is a feasible distance to travel before making an application.
