Job Vacancy Release Management Lead-

My Client leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Release Management Lead to oversee planning, coordination, and governance of software and infrastructure releases across enterprise platforms.

Release Management Lead - Financial Services
Location: London | Contract: Inside IR35 | Rate: £739/day

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the enterprise release calendar.
• Plan and execute major, minor, and emergency releases.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
• Ensure rollback plans and communication strategies for critical releases.
• Lead release bridges and out-of-hours deployments.
• Manage post-release issue tracking and remediation.

Required Skills:

• Extensive release management experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, change governance, and regulatory standards (DORA, SOX, GDPR).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow), CI/CD pipelines, and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe).
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
