Within CyberSecurity department, the entity at the heart of Security, you will be part of the squad ‘IAM Technologies’, team responsible for the development & LCM of our IT Access management tooling.

 Position PurposeAs a VBA Dev. engineer, you join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team.
Goal of the mission is to :

• Review, analyzing a large number of Excel Based tools that are using Excel VBA Macros to support Operational teams

• Create comprehensive technical document, for each tools, to ease the maintenance and potential migration of those tools to a more future-proofed language

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing Excel-based shadow IT tools to understand their functionality, workflow, and technical architecture

• Perform reverse-engineering of VBA macros to identify key components, data flows, and business logic

• Create detailed technical documentation for each tool, including:
  

  • Functional and technical descriptions

  • VBA code explanations

  • User interface and user experience descriptions

  
  

• Collaborate with operational teams to validate the accuracy and completeness of the technical documentation

• Identify potential technical debt, security risks, and performance issues in the existing VBA macros and document recommendations for improvement

• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and useful for maintenance and potential migration efforts

Technical Competencies

• VBA Excel Expert, familiar with Excel VBA Editor

• Reverse-Engineering ability

• Redaction Technical and Functional documentations

• SQL Server @ Medium or Expert

 Specific Qualifications & Behavioral Competencies

• Knowledge of the IAM, RBAC methodology is a plus.

• Knowledge of French or Dutch is preferred

• Decent knowledge of English is mandatory
