Freelance remote job AI Automation Delivery Lead

Job Description
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple automation workstreams, ensuring objectives, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met.
* Own sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery ceremonies to ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery across the agile team.
* Establish and monitor delivery metrics to demonstrate value, progress, and performance to the client.
* Proactively identify and remove delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers.
* Provide thought leadership and strategic AI and Automation direction
* Manage delivery team of both Tech and Business Analysis resources
* Identify opportunities and efficiency gains from process redesign, then infuse AI and Automation opportunities. Work directly with the senior client sponsor, helping her manage strategic engagements.
* Serve as the primary delivery contact between senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency, trust, and alignment.




AI & Automation Leadership
* Provide subject matter insight on intelligent automation, including workflow automation, machine learning and optimisation techniques.
* Ensure proposed solutions align with business needs, regulatory constraints, and enterprise architecture.
* Work with technical leads to validate feasibility, readiness, and responsible AI considerations.



Team Leadership & Ways of Working
* Coach and support junior team members (BAs & Developers) to maintain high performance and strong delivery culture.
* Promote agile principles and continuous improvement across the programme.
* Foster collaborative, inclusive ways of working
