Based in Spain, you’ll play a critical role in driving projects to success, collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless execution aligned with public grant commitments. Key Responsibilities As the R&D Project Manager, you will: • Establish comprehensive project plans to support scope, goals, and deliverables while maintaining critical project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps • Oversee project budgets, schedule timelines, and track deliverables to ensure timely, within-budget results. • Liaise closely with R&D team leaders, project teams, and external assembly fabs to support prototype, qualification, and production phases. • Present regular project status reports and monitor progress, ensuring alignment with project goals. • Coordinate with universities, research centres, and partner companies for collaboration agreements. Manage audits and compliance with external entities, supporting IP documentation and patent-related communications. • Engage with industry conferences and publications to drive R&D dissemination, positioning the company as a leader in optical network solutions. Qualifications & Skills • Must have experience with Electronic, Optical or Semiconductor Engineering • Minimum of 15 years in SW/HW development project management with a strong grasp of complex project requirements. • Exceptional English skills for effective communication and documentation. • Familiarity with version control and issue-tracking software is a plus. R&D Project Manager ( 6 months FTC )
Our client, is at the forefront of building the quantum error correction stack that will enable breakthroughs in fields like material science and drug discovery. Due to this they are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Within the role, you would be responsible for guiding a team of highly skilled software and hardware engineers - across design, verification, architecture and software development & integration for complex semiconductor products. I am looking to speak with senior level - technical / leadership engineers with a background in high-speed digital products and / or CPU or processor related technologies. The role will involve product development, project management, staff management, and hands-on engineering.
